Responsibilities
Taste potatoes, chips, oil, and packaging like a snack detective
Check salt and seasoning levels to make sure the flavor hits just right
Inspect everything—from the color and crunch of the chip to the moisture and weight of the bags
Keep equipment (and work areas) super clean and safe
Identify and separate products that don’t meet standards—and help figure out why
Use tools to verify quality standards (metal detectors, swabs, oxygen meters, etc.)
Record everything you find clearly and neatly
Communicate with operators and leaders when adjustments or fixes are needed
Lend a hand with training or special samples when needed
Qualification
Required
Ability to work on your feet in an active, warm, and sometimes noisy environment
Comfort working near machinery, high temperatures, and oily surfaces (we're a snack company)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and keep up the pace during 12-hour shifts
Strong communication skills and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
