Account Executive - Managed Print Services
Primis is a growing client looking for a driven Account Executive - Managed Services to expand their footprint across the Syracuse and Buffalo market. The role involves selling Managed IT and Managed Security services, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term partnerships with customers.
Responsibilities
Represent and clearly communicate the client’s Managed Services value proposition to prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders
Identify, qualify, and convert leads into sales opportunities through proactive prospecting and follow-up
Manage the full sales cycle, using a structured and effective sales process
Deliver compelling presentations both in person and virtually
Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive deals to close
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using CRM tools (NetSuite or similar)
Manage and grow both new and existing accounts, working closely with the Network Operations Center on refreshes and ongoing projects
Keep sales leadership informed on pipeline activity, opportunities, and progress against targets
Manage third-party strategic relationships that support the overall sales strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of proven sales experience, ideally selling hardware, software, or IT solutions (or equivalent experience)
Prior IT or managed services sales experience
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to guide customers toward the right solution
Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong relationship builder with a customer-first mindset
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
