Responsibilities
Inspect and test electronic components, assemblies, and systems using specialized equipment
Identify defects and non-conformities, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
Perform root cause analysis and assist in implementing quality improvements
Maintain calibration and functionality of testing instruments
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance
Record and analyze test data, generate reports, and maintain quality documentation
Support internal audits and regulatory compliance efforts
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in electronics testing or quality assurance
Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment
Strong understanding of IPC standards and ISO 9001 quality systems
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and printed circuit board (PCB) inspection
Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode analysis
