Responsibilities

Supervises, trains, develops, and motivates Account Payable staff

Establishes tasks for the team and delegates workload

Receives guidance and oversight from Manager

Contributes to the development of processes and procedures

Assists in compiling and generating IRS Form 1099s

Maintains strong working relationships with employees, suppliers, and other departments

Required

Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and staff management

Proficiency in Finance, particularly in areas like accounts payable processes

Analytical Skills for data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement

Experience with Accruals and preparing and reviewing Journal Entries for accuracy

Familiarity with accounting systems and accounting principles

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

Experience in healthcare finance or a related industry is a plus

PeopleSoft and/or Oracle Cloud, Workday experience preferred but not required
