Responsibilities

Install and terminate various types of low voltage cables including HDMI, SDI, fiber, Cat5e/6, audio, and control cables
Build and wire equipment racks according to specifications and industry standards
Mount and install AV components including displays, projectors, speakers, and control interfaces
Configure basic system settings and verify proper operation
Perform cable certification and system testing
Follow system designs and documentation during installation
Integrate various AV components into cohesive systems
Document as-built conditions and installation details
Troubleshoot connectivity and configuration issues
Assist with system programming and configuration as needed
Participate in daily check-in meetings online via Microsoft Teams
Provide technical support and product assistance remotely
Create and maintain technical documentation
Prepare for upcoming installations
Support client training and system operation
Work effectively with the project team to meet deadlines
Communicate installation progress and technical challenges
Manage equipment inventory and installation materials
Follow safety protocols and maintain professional work areas
Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders

Qualification

Required

5+ years experience in commercial AV installation, integration, production AV, low voltage wiring, or closely related technical field
Demonstrated proficiency with cable terminations (audio, video, network, control)
Experience building and wiring equipment racks
Familiarity with AV components such as displays, projectors, audio systems, and control interfaces
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and system diagrams
Strong troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certificate or associate degree preferred)
Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 60-80% of work time)
For remote candidates: Must live within one hour of an international airport

Network cabling and basic IT concepts
Hotel/hospitality AV systems
Experience with IPTV, DLED systems, or control systems
Basic understanding of control system programming
Experience with testing and certification equipment
