Promotions Coordinator
Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel is seeking a Promotions Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the Players Club and manage staff to ensure quality guest service. The role involves coordinating events and promotions, training staff, monitoring budgets, and assisting in marketing efforts to enhance guest experiences.

Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Players Club and staff to ensure quality guest service at all times
Responsible for the overall coordination of Players Club events and promotions to include daily, monthly and special events such as VIP
Responsible for selection, training, and scheduling of Players Club staff, to ensure adequate staffing. Communicates Players Club goals and objectives to staff members and reviews performance accordingly
Monitors and reviews Players Club policies and procedures on player point earning, and makes recommendations or changes as necessary reviews daily paperwork and shift reports for accuracy
Will assist in performing the daily events and promotions operational functions along with preparing daily paper work, filing documents, product pick-up and delivery, and performing various other departmental duties
Responsible for monitoring general labor and expenses to ensure adherence to department budget
Assists the Marketing Manager in special projects, budget variance monitoring programs, and events as needed
Assists Marketing in hosting parties, and other various functions for the Casino
Assists Marketing in the proper implementation of all promotions, events, and entertainment including set-up, event registration, gift distribution, and prize management
Assist the Promotions Coordinator by reviewing setup of daily, weekly, monthly promotions on the kiosk
Assists in the creation, preparation, and execution of all casino promotions and events with a high degree of quality support, to ensure the smooth running of daily promotional operations
Works closely with the DSC to procure approved Gaming Submissions, Revisions to approved Gaming Submissions, Cancellations, etc. Ensure all events are conducted as stated in the official approved marketing gaming submissions
Assist and support property-wide special projects, promotions/events and/or initiatives
Assists with proofing of all advertising materials related to promotions and events
Timely responds and resolves guest inquiries and disputes/issues ensuring guest satisfaction
Comply with all applicable Tribal regulations, internal controls and policies and procedures. Documents and reports all exceptions/variations/deviations immediately to the Marketing Manager
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the requirements of this position
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
College graduate or equivalent experience in marketing, business or related field
Preferred knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Player Tracking System, and Kiosk System
Excellent guest services and communication skills
Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire
Must obtain key-gaming license upon hire
Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent guest service skills
Flexible availability
Excellent computer literacy
