Lead Interior Designer

Responsibilities
Lead the design vision from concept through installation, ensuring each project reflects the Park Interiors aesthetic and the client’s lifestyle
Develop comprehensive design concepts, including space planning, material palettes, furnishings, lighting, and decorative layers
Confidently present design ideas to clients with clarity, intention, and polish
Push creative thinking while maintaining a refined, cohesive point of view aligned with the Park Interiors brand
Oversee projects through all phases: design development, documentation, procurement, and installation
Collaborate closely with builders, architects, artisans, and vendors to ensure seamless execution
Review drawings, elevations, and specifications for accuracy, quality, and alignment with the design intent
Anticipate challenges and proactively problem-solve to keep projects moving forward smoothly
Serve as a primary client contact, fostering trust through clear communication, organization, and thoughtful guidance
Balance client needs, budgets, and timelines while upholding design integrity
Translate client feedback into refined solutions without losing the overall vision
Deliver a calm, confident, and elevated experience from start to finish
Lead and mentor junior designers, providing clear direction, feedback, and professional development support
Delegate design tasks thoughtfully while maintaining oversight and accountability
Set expectations for quality, organization, and follow-through across the design team
Foster a collaborative studio culture rooted in respect, growth, and shared standards of excellence
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential
Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD or similar) and familiarity with SketchUp, and Studio Designer (or comparable procurement software)
Experience leading construction and furnishings projects from concept through installation
Proficient knowledge of the construction process, experience with contractor coordination, and a strong understanding of construction documents
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members
A refined design sensibility aligned with the Park Interiors aesthetic and commitment to thoughtful, livable design
