Responsibilities

Ensure highway transportation projects are designed and built in compliance with standard specifications, contract specifications and contract plans
Improve the safety, quality, and capacity of the State's transportation system
Act as a lead designer, inspector, and quality auditor of highway transportation projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of highway design and construction principles
Experience with engineering software and tools

Commitment to safety and quality in engineering practices
