Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation in Florida, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments
First-chair contested nonjury trials
Take and defend depositions
Assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed
Work with both large and small financial institutions and investors
Qualification
Required
Law degree from ABA accredited law school
License to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing
A minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage foreclosure is required
Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally
Willingness to travel as needed across the state of Florida (10%)
Preferred
Real estate and/or title law experience is a plus
