Responsibilities

Drive implementation of one or more RHTP initiatives in partnership with communities, Tribal Health Organizations, providers, and state agency teams
Coordinate ongoing program operations, including work plans, timelines, documentation, and tracking progress toward key milestones
Support engagement activities such as meetings, listening sessions, and presentations with community and statewide partners
Assist with federal compliance and reporting, including reviewing guidance and supporting required submissions to federal partners
Collaborate with the statewide subrecipient administrator and other contractors to support application, review, and monitoring processes
Provide policy, operational, and analytical support, including reviewing proposals, supporting funding recommendations, and tracking outcomes

Cover letter - Please submit a one-page cover letter describing why you are a strong fit for this Project Coordinator position
Experience with Alaska health policy, Medicaid, rural/remote/frontier Alaska communities, or Tribal health systems
Experience supporting grants or subrecipient/community funding programs (or ability to learn quickly)
Comfort engaging with Tribal partners, health care providers, and community organizations
Clear communication skills and the ability to turn complex guidance into practical steps
Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to support a mix of policy and operational work

Preferred

Project Management: Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance
Stakeholder Management: Knowledge of the concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify, engage, influence, and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to a work effort
Oral and Written Communication: Expresses information effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information
Organizational Awareness: Knows the organization's mission and functions, and how its social, political, and technological systems work
Public Health: Applies knowledge of the concepts, principles, theories, methods, and tools associated with protecting and improving the health of people and their communities
