BLEHEALTH is seeking a dynamic and organized Human Resources and Business Office Manager to lead and foster a positive workplace environment. The HR Manager will oversee HR operations with a focus on legal compliance, employee relations, and risk mitigation, while coordinating administrative processes and managing staff and vendor relationships.

Management Consulting

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, records maintenance, and employee relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employment-related legal matters, including investigations, claims, and litigation coordination with external counsel
Ensure organizational compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies
Lead internal investigations into employee complaints, misconduct, or policy violations
Provide legal insight and guidance on HR policies, contracts, severance agreements, and disciplinary actions
Develop and implement training programs on workplace ethics, anti-harassment, internal policies, government frameworks, and regulatory compliance
Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals while minimizing legal exposure
Maintain accurate HR documentation and prepare reports for audits or legal proceedings
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations within the office environment; manage filing systems for healthcare management if applicable
Liaise with external counsel on litigation, dispute resolution, and compliance matters
Identify and mitigate legal and operational risks across business units
Rewards program coordination and/or administration
Knowledge of HR policies related to employee relations, on-boarding processes, payroll administration, benefits administration, and compliance standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or Law (J.D. preferred but not required)
5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years involving legal or litigation support
Deep understanding of employment law, labor relations, and workplace compliance
Experience managing external legal counsel and participating in litigation strategy
Payroll Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience processing and closing exempt and non-exempt payroll, including budgeting, and financial record-keeping
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and inspire an HR team and support the needs of the company. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on finding practical and fair solutions
Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and changing work environment
Ethical Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information
Travel: 25% travel required

Preferred

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred
