Responsibilities
Write fixture specifications and create cut sheets
Support database entry of specifications and design documentation
Participate in the research and testing of light fixtures
Participate in procurement of lighting fixtures and show lighting supplies
Must be willing and able to travel and/or relocate internationally
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in a related professional environment
Proven ability to work on multiple projects and drive results
Familiarity with lighting design
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
Strong typing and data entry skills
Excel in high pressure environment with strict schedule deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Able to work well independently and in groups
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Domestic and International travel required
Bachelors degree in Theater, Art, Design, Architecture or equivalent work experience is required
Preferred
Experience and background in theatrical lighting design
Experience with and technical knowledge of theatrical light fixtures, theatrical controls, and LED lighting fixtures and their power/data equipment
Strong knowledge of theatrical and architectural lighting fixture manufacturers
Strong knowledge of new and developing technologies in lighting
