The State of Louisiana's Department of Revenue is dedicated to administering the state's tax laws and providing exceptional customer service. They are seeking a Management Analyst to support programs and operations within the Collections Division, focusing on analyzing data and assisting with organizational projects.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Analyze and support the programs, polices, procedures, and methods of operation within the DELTA system
Perform supporting work within DELTA for uploading, imaging, indexing correspondence and testing
Work with Collection management to assist with organizational projects and implementation of new programs as needed
Assist with administering and maintaining the database for liens and cancellations
Research delinquent tax cases through computer and financial records and respond to incoming correspondence regarding tax gaming clearances

Required

Four years of experience in administrative services, health services, social services, or engineering
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services, health services, social services, or engineering
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services, health services, social services, or engineering
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field
A Tax and Natural Disaster Clearance will be conducted on all selected applicants to validate the timely submission of tax returns and payments
It is a requirement that all Revenue employees must adhere to all tax laws of the State of Louisiana
LDR- LA. R.S.15:587.5, 587.6 and the IRS require the Louisiana Department of Revenue to conduct a criminal history records check of a prospective employee who will access federal tax information to perform job duties
