IT Support Specialist
FPT Americas is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across their IT systems. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining hardware and software, and supporting end-users with a wide range of technologies.
Responsibilities
Provide general IT support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
Diagnose and resolve network and wireless connectivity issues
Support email and collaboration tools including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
Assist with Microsoft 365 applications and related productivity tools
Maintain and troubleshoot conference room and audiovisual equipment (projectors, cameras, audio, and display systems)
Handle printing and printer-related issues
Manage IT asset inventory, including tracking and documentation
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Basic understanding of IT security best practices
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified are a plus
