Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain OT network solutions for asset connectivity (PLCs, HMIs, sensors, packaging/process lines)
Ensure reliable communication using industrial protocols such as Ethernet/IP, MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
Provide technical support and guidance to end users
Participate in system and network upgrades and migrations
Conduct system and network performance monitoring and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, controls, vendors, and operations—to deliver integrated solutions
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in operational technology, industrial networking, or systems engineering
Strong knowledge of OT networking standards, industrial protocols, and asset integration
Experience with system configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting in manufacturing environments
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science
Experience with communication brokers (e.g., Kepware, Ignition, Aveva)
Understanding of cybersecurity principles in OT environments is beneficial
