Responsibilities

Build and operate a 13-week cash flow model; implement real-time cash monitoring and reporting cadence
Lead weekly liquidity reviews with executive team, PE sponsor & lender group
Optimize working capital — receivables collection acceleration, vendor negotiation, credit terms restructuring
Establish spend controls, approval frameworks, and capital prioritization discipline
Develop and execute a financial stabilization plan with milestones, scenario modeling, and visibility metrics
Evaluate cost structure → recommend headcount actions, SG&A reductions, margin restoration levers
Interface with restructuring counsel, lender relations, and strategic alternatives advisors
Build recovery roadmap → operating model redesign, reporting automation, scalable internal structure
Assess the finance organization, restructure workflows, elevate accountability, remove bottlenecks
Standardize monthly reporting, close cadence, forecasting, and variance analysis
Reconstruct internal controls, approval processes & policy frameworks
Implement KPI dashboards that drive operational discipline and decision clarity
Prepare weekly cash, liquidity runway, and restructuring updates for the Board & PE sponsor
Manage direct communication with lending partners — covenant risk management, refinancing paths
Build clarity and confidence around timeline, execution plan, and value-preservation priorities
Work cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and Commercial Leadership to execute cost initiatives
Support CEO in operational restructuring, pricing analysis, and organizational redesign
Drive accountability cadence across leaders with weekly performance and KPI review structure

Required

12+ years of progressive finance leadership including CFO or Interim CFO experience
Proven success navigating distressed or near-distressed environments
Deep experience in liquidity management, cash forecasting, lender negotiations, and cost rationalization
Background in private equity, turnaround advisory, restructuring consulting, or special-situations finance
Strong command presence, crisis-calm demeanor, and ability to make urgent, data-driven decisions
Comfortable entering ambiguity and creating structure where none exists
