Responsibilities

Read and understand work instructions and blueprints
Open, manipulate, and understand 3D computer models
Inspect the quality of coolers, steel parts, fans, drive components (e.g., bearings, bushings, sheaves, and shafts). Use corrective tools to make repairs and adjustments as needed
Locate and retrieve parts required for assembly
Move cooling packages between work areas using motorized cranes
Assemble and attach parts to the cooling package, following blueprint instructions and 3D models
Document that the unit has been assembled according to AKG and industry standards
Meet production quotas set by the Lead or Supervisor
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Develop and maintain knowledge of parts used in the assembly of High Horsepower Units
Report any issues to the supervisor or appropriate personnel promptly
Adhere to all policies, procedures, and environmental management system (EMS) requirements set by AKG
Regular physical attendance is required

Required

Experience in a manufacturing environment is required; prior experience in final assembly is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude
Availability to work the agreed-upon shift: 2nd: 1:00pm-9:00pm
Ability to use basic computer programs, including manipulating and interpreting 3D computer models
Ability to read and understand detailed blueprint instructions
Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools
Excellent attention to detail

Prior experience in final assembly
