Responsibilities

Lead the engineering design, packaging, release, and launch of exterior vehicle components
Develop cutting-edge exterior systems prioritizing quality, functionality, cost efficiency, and reliability
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration benefits the vehicle as a whole
Utilize world-class engineering tools and innovative approaches in supporting system development
Manage project timelines to ensure deliverables are met according to launch schedules

Qualification

CAD modelingThermoplasticsClass A SurfacesGlazing SystemsExterior TrimAutomotive industry experience

Required

Proficient in complex CAD modeling, preferably CATIA V5 or V6
Extensive knowledge of thermoplastic & thermoset resin materials and class A manufacturing technologies
Demonstrable experience in the design and development of vehicle exterior components including glazing systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle exterior component design and development within the automotive industry
