AmeriCorps is seeking an Environmental Literacy Fellow VISTA to support Catalyst Public Schools in integrating environmental literacy and sustainability education. The role focuses on developing internal systems, tools, and resources to enhance staff capacity for delivering high-quality environmental learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Strengthen internal capacity for Catalyst Public Schools’ environmental education and the Land Labs program by developing systems, tools, and resources that support staff-led curriculum, outreach, and partnerships
Focus on building organizational infrastructure rather than teaching, public outreach, student engagement, or program delivery
Develop curriculum templates and planning tools for staff
Create workflow guides and documentation to support program planning
Build resource libraries, communication tools, and procedural guides to strengthen staff capacity
Map internal workflows including staff roles and processes
Develop data tracking and evaluation systems to support long-term planning
