The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into robust data models and analytics solutions using Snowflake and Databricks, enabling trusted insights across the organization.

Responsibilities
Design and implement robust, reusable business metrics aligned with enterprise definitions and governance standards
Translate complex business requirements into dimensional, semantic, and metrics-based data models
Build scalable metrics layers that support self-service analytics and BI consumption
Ensure metric consistency, accuracy, and performance across multiple reporting platforms
Design and develop high-performance data pipelines using Snowflake and Databricks
Implement ETL/ELT workflows leveraging SQL, Spark, and cloud-native services
Optimize query performance, cost efficiency, and scalability across large datasets
Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring
Build and maintain comprehensive metadata, data lineage, and documentation for datasets and metrics
Partner with data governance teams to ensure compliance, traceability, and auditability
Enable discoverability and transparency through data catalogs and documentation tools
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Amazon Quick Sight
Partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and KPI-driven reporting
Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and executive-level consumption
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or BI Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks (Spark)
Advanced SQL skills and experience designing dimensional and metrics-driven data models
Experience building and managing enterprise metrics frameworks
Strong experience with Tableau and Amazon Quick Sight dashboard development
Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and documentation practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
