Responsibilities
Work with IT teams to define the infrastructure and system requirements to support Information Server DataStage environment on zLinux
Understanding and experience with InfoSphere products in a zLinux environment a must
Experience in identifying set of standards for configuration settings for DataStage performance management; optimization of disk space and memory allocation in the environment
Installation /Upgrade InfoSphere Products such as DataStage and others related products such as Data Masking and Classic Federation
Configure, tune, and maintain DataStage application instances and supporting underlying database and OS environments
Set up the projects, roles, users, privileges in different environments (DEV, QA, PROD)
Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the DataStage
Available for on-call support for Production related issues
Provide migration support and automation procedure
Qualification
Required
Min. 7-8 Years of experience
DataStage Administration experience
Some DataStage Development experience
Infrastructure Support experience
Production Support experience
Experience with IIS and Unix
Experience with Kafka Messaging tool
Experience in Mid-Tier Infra Activities
Experience with Software install & Patching
Experience with Connectivity & Integration
Experience with Server & system management
Experience with security & access control
Understanding and experience with InfoSphere products in a zLinux environment
