Director of Sales

Oxford Solutions is working with a growing medical equipment organization to hire a Director of Sales. This senior-level role involves leading revenue growth efforts, managing a book of business, and building a high-performing sales team while being actively involved in key accounts and complex deals.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth, margin performance, and market expansion
Actively manage a personal book of business while supporting sales representatives on high-value and complex opportunities
Own and deepen relationships with key and strategic accounts, including health systems, laboratories, universities, and channel partners
Build, coach and manage a high-performing sales team
Enforce a structured sales process, disciplined pricing strategy, and consistent deal review methodology
Maintain strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting using CRM and ERP tools
Partner closely with Operations, Service, Warehouse/Procurement, MIS, and Finance to ensure smooth handoff from sale to delivery and ongoing customer satisfaction
Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and client-facing events
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and execution

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
5+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, ideally within medical equipment, laboratory devices, technical equipment, distribution, or related environments
Proven history of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets
Demonstrated success building, leading, and managing sales teams in a performance-based environment
Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline; NetSuite experience highly preferred
Experience working cross-functionally with operations, service, and finance teams
Strong communication, negotiation, coaching, and leadership skills
Willingness and ability to travel for conferences and client meetings as required
