Responsibilities
Handle incoming incidents (system-driven and user-reported)
Follow existing TSGs/standard processes but also troubleshoot creatively
Handle ad-hoc requests (e.g., urgent security tasks, compliance exercises)
Participate in an on-call rotation with an 18-member team, each on-call approximately 1 week at a time
Occasional weekend work (deployments, BCP exercises)
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
4 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience
Strong incident management background with the ability to problem-solve beyond runbooks
Evidence of an automation mindset (scripting, process improvement)
Experience in incident management and change request handling, using tools like ServiceNow
Exposure to Windows, Linux, databases, SaaS solutions, and front-end apps
Must stay current with modern technology (no “single-track” specialists)
Preferred
Recent exposure to diverse tech environments (Windows/Linux Cloud Databases)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Elastic, and Prometheus
Experience in managing incidents, change requests, and on-call rotations
