Responsibilities
Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects to ensure their successful deployment
Engage in architecture discussions and reviews with IT and business groups to ensure supportability requirements and standards are met
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical direction to team members
Author documents that enhance governance and librarianship with network-related architectures
Develop and implement new standards, processes, and procedures for network and system deployment, maintenance, and support
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security best practices
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure into the organization's overall technology ecosystem
Perform network-related data backups and disaster recovery operations
Work with field techs and vendors to support infrastructure in 1000 remote offices across the United States
Monitor and improve infrastructure performance by researching, evaluating, and recommending new technology products and services
Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches to configuration and applications that enable the architecture
Participate in all phases of development life-cycle environments including development, test, staging, and production infrastructure systems, applications, servers, and cloud services
Manage relationships with vendor support of multiple systems to troubleshoot and investigate root causes of performance and failure issues
Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science or applicable work experience in lieu of degree, with 4 years of professional experience required
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network/system engineering and deployment, with at least 3 years of experience leading a team
Prior experience in Windows server administration or engineering
Experience with VMware ESXi
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex network issues
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Advanced experience with packet capture and analysis, span/mirror port strategy, and related network monitoring tools
Preferred
Experience using PowerShell scripting for automation purposes
Experience with Aruba Central, Logic Monitor, VCenter, and ESXi
Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Windows domain environments
Experience with network-oriented enterprise storage solutions (iSCSI, FCoE)
AWS Associate level certification
