Responsibilities
Manage systems at scale through standardization, automation, testing, and monitoring
Define and enforce infrastructure standards for source control, testing, CI/CD, OS, patches, and configuration management
Support a distributed compute environment and multi-petabyte storage platforms
Install, configure, and monitor RHEL-based Linux systems
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across the full stack
Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver both short-term and long-term objectives
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with strong Linux administration expertise
Proficiency with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, or similar)
Hands-on experience with distributed storage systems and protocols (NFS, GPFS, WEKA)
Programming skills in Python or another modern language (Go, Rust, etc.)
Knowledge of modern development practices (version control, agile, CI/CD)
Experience with observability tools (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
