Senior Director of Paid Media

LHH is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Director of Media Planning & Buying to lead their client's paid media team. This executive-level role will focus on driving the development, execution, and optimization of media campaigns while managing a multi-million-dollar budget and leading a team of media professionals.

Responsibilities

Define and execute media planning and buying strategies aligned with business objectives and growth goals. Stay ahead of industry trends and identify new channels and technologies to test and scale
Lead and mentor a team of media professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Oversee workload distribution and refine processes for efficiency
Own performance metrics for all campaigns, driving optimization to maximize ROAS, LTV, and CPA. Provide guidance on media allocation across Paid Social, Search, Programmatic/CTV, Audio, and emerging platforms
Oversee and strategically allocate multi-million-dollar media budgets across diverse channels to ensure maximum impact and efficiency
Standardize and enhance media execution processes, ensuring best practices are implemented for scalability and operational excellence
Partner with leadership and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign execution and alignment with broader marketing strategies
Serve as a senior point of contact for media-related discussions, presenting strategies and results to executive stakeholders. Negotiate partnerships and manage relationships with key vendors

Required

10+ years in media planning and buying, with at least 5 years focused on DTC/e-commerce brands
Agency Experience is a must
8+ years managing and scaling paid media teams
Proven success managing annual media budgets of $20M+
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads and attribution models
Strong understanding of e-commerce funnels, customer journey mapping, and performance metrics
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field
