RIT Solutions, Inc. is partnering with a leading Investment Bank in NYC to hire a Cybersecurity Consultant specializing in Network, Data, and Endpoint Security. The role requires deep expertise in implementing robust cybersecurity controls in complex financial environments, focusing on network defense and data protection.

Responsibilities

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a focus on network defense, data protection, and endpoint security
Strong knowledge of the OSI model, layered network defense, and endpoint protection technologies
Proven experience with IDS/IPS platforms, network segmentation, and security monitoring tools
Advanced knowledge of encryption technologies and cryptographic standards (e.g., SHA, AES)
Hands-on experience with PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and enterprise key management platforms
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and financial sector regulations including NYDFS, GLBA, FedLine, CSCRF/CRI
Experience in one or more of the following Cyber focus areas is highly desirable: Cyber Risk & Threat Management, Vulnerability Management & Cyber Resilience, Insider Threat Programs, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Third-Party Cyber Risk Management
Prior consulting experience is required with demonstrated success in client-facing delivery roles
Financial Services (FS) industry experience preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, or vendor-specific PKI/Encryption) are highly desirable
