Youth Programming Coordinator - Slate Valley Trails/VHCB
AmeriCorps is dedicated to building community and promoting outdoor recreation in Vermont. The Youth Programming Coordinator will design and lead biking and trail stewardship programs for young people, fostering their connection to the outdoors and encouraging healthy recreation.

Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate youth recreation programs throughout the spring, summer, and fall including: Youth Mountain Bike, A Teen Trail Blazers program focused on trail building, maintenance, and stewardship, Spring After-School Bike Clubs at Poultney Elementary, Middle & High Schools
Support the local Vermont Youth Cycling League team (fall)
Support and implement program communications and outreach
Develop and share content from programming through Slate Valley Trails’ online channels and print publications
Participate in an Independent Service Project under the guidance of VHCB AmeriCorps
Participate in all VHCB AmeriCorps Program Initiatives & outreach activities to promote AmeriCorps
Engage in professional and personal development activities and networking opportunities
Qualification
