Collab Ops Academy Curriculum Developer (Volunteer)
Conversa Corps is launching CollabOps Academy, a professional training program aimed at improving collaboration among humanitarian organizations during crises. They are seeking a Curriculum Development Lead to design and develop structured learning experiences that will enhance the coordination efforts of aid organizations.

Responsibilities
Design curriculum architecture and learning pathways for CollabOps 101/102 and other foundation courses and three certification tracks
Develop learning modules with clear objectives, assessments, and practice exercises aligned to adult learning principles
Create instructional materials including facilitator guides, student workbooks, and assessment rubrics
Collaborate with media specialists to define video, graphic, and interactive content requirements
Develop instructor training materials and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions
Establish quality assurance standards for instructional design across all Academy offerings
Implement feedback loops to continuously improve curriculum based on student outcomes and instructor insights
Document curriculum decisions and maintain version control of all learning materials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or related field (Master's preferred)
3+ years of professional instructional design experience, preferably in adult learning or professional development
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, Understanding by Design, or similar)
Experience designing assessment tools and evaluation frameworks
Portfolio demonstrating successful curriculum projects with measurable learning outcomes
Ability to commit ~20 hours/week from December 2025 through July 2026 (6-8 month volunteer commitment)
Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams
Passion for humanitarian work and improving crisis response coordination
Instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory
Learning management system (LMS) experience and e-learning best practices
Clear written communication for diverse audiences
Project management and ability to work independently toward deadlines
Collaborative approach to working with subject matter experts
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Familiarity with Bloom's Taxonomy and competency-based learning
Preferred
Experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, emergency management, or crisis coordination fields
Familiarity with collaborative technologies (Slack, Airtable, project management tools)
