Responsibilities
Lead technical accounting initiatives, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards
Provide guidance on complex transactions, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instruments
Research and interpret accounting standards, draft technical memos, and advise leadership on implications
Support external reporting requirements and collaborate with internal teams on accounting policy development
Drive process improvements and implement best practices for technical accounting and financial reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Background in public accounting (current or prior) is essential
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience with ASC 860 (Transfers and Servicing) is a plus
Proven ability to manage complex projects and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in accounting research and documentation
Preferred
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
