Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of commercial projects
Review and approve construction documents, ensuring they comply with all relevant regulations and standards
Design and implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain the integrity of the project
Manage shoring activities, ensuring the safety and stability of construction sites
Utilize your expertise in P.E. to oversee the planning, design, and construction of structures
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure the project meets all requirements and expectations
Apply your knowledge in environmental engineering to ensure our projects are sustainable and environmentally friendly
Oversee the design build process, ensuring it is efficient, cost-effective, and meets the project's objectives
Continually monitor and evaluate the project's progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure it stays on schedule and within budget
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on commercial projects
Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is required
Proven experience in erosion control, shoring, and environmental engineering
Extensive knowledge of construction documents and the design build process
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions
Proficient in using engineering software and tools
Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental protection
