Director of Catering Sales
Hotel Sorrento, Seattle’s most established boutique hotel, has been providing genuine hospitality for over 117 years. They are seeking a full-time Director of Sales & Catering to lead their direct sales team and drive business growth by managing sales operations and client relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead our direct sales team
Booking over $1M in group room and event sales per year
Overseeing daily sales operations
Developing and executing solicitation strategies
Managing relationships with clients
Creating in-house promotional events
Driving business growth
Leading, supporting, training, mentoring the sales team
Ensuring exceptional guest relations to achieve revenue targets and consistent brand representation
Qualification
Required
Sales expertise, including proven experience in sales, special event sales and servicing, strategies and operations
Strong leadership, mentoring skills
Background in Customer Service, building client relationships, and ensuring satisfaction
Proficiency in selling, leading and managing teams to achieve group room sales, special event catering sales and operational goals
Experience in solicitation and Business Development and identifying opportunities for growth
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, food service, sales or Business Administration
Experience in the hotel and catering sales and service
Preferred
Desire to grow career to be Hotel General Manager a plus
