Responsibilities
Coordinate delivery and pickup times with patients to ensure timely, reliable service
Transport, deliver, and retrieve equipment and supplies while following safety procedures and reporting any concerns
Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, storage, and maintenance of equipment
Review and explain all documents in the New Patient Packet, ensuring understanding of rights and responsibilities
Complete required delivery documentation, including route logs and oxygen dispensing logs
Clean, maintain, and service equipment according to company standards
Maintain accurate inventory records for all equipment received, delivered, and retrieved
Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and well‑stocked
Serve as a professional representative of AHRE in all interactions with patients, caregivers, and partners
Participate in on‑call rotation when assigned, maintaining availability and accurate call documentation
Identify safety hazards during delivery and setup, taking appropriate action to mitigate risk
Ensure safe vehicle operation in varied weather and travel conditions
Support process improvements and collaborate to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage physical demands and maintain safety awareness
Preferred
Experience in DME, respiratory care, or home medical equipment
Familiarity with patient care environments or healthcare settings
Strong organizational and documentation skills
