Responsibilities

Contribute with minimal guidance to the compliance efforts of assigned business units, helping bring them into compliance with regulatory and policy requirements

Assist business units in responding to and developing compliance reporting as directed

Work with business units to implement control improvements and develop documentation based on control assessments

Analyze existing legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices to ensure compliance with current requirements

Contribute to projects and program tasks aimed at improving compliance and enhancing the control environment

Analyze control processes for compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and help guide business units in implementing improvements

Build and maintain working relationships with regulators, government officials, and business unit managers to facilitate timely information delivery and favorable compliance conditions

Contribute to assessments of control effectiveness ensuring ongoing compliance with key laws, regulations, and policies

Prepare risk-based reviews of regulatory requirements, issues, and control gaps, escalating issues appropriately
