Energy Services Technician
Minnesota Rural Electric Association is seeking a full-time Energy Services Technician due to an upcoming retirement. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and supporting load management installations while providing guidance on energy efficiency and conservation to Cooperative members.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and support of load management installations across our service territory
Work directly with Cooperative members and area contractors, providing expert guidance on heating and cooling systems
Off-peak and load management metering
Energy usage, efficiency, and conservation
Appliance energy consumption
Electric rate options and comparisons
Support agricultural, residential, commercial, and industrial members while serving as a trusted technical resource for the Cooperative
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in electrical or electronic technology or a related field
1–3 years of related work experience
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office 365
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Ability to understand and apply electric utility terminology, specifications, and codes
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred
Journeyman Electrician's license
HVAC knowledge or experience
