Responsibilities
Monitor emerging accounting and financial reporting developments and assess their impact on the company
Provide clear, concise technical guidance on new and emerging accounting and reporting issues from regulatory bodies (FASB, SEC, NAIC)
Consult with business partners to implement new requirements across the enterprise
Offer technical accounting and reporting guidance for products, transactions, and other relevant circumstances, including M&A activity and complex investment transactions
Deliver training to Finance staff on accounting and reporting issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA required
6+ years of relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements
Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience in financial and operational auditing and review, including acquisitions and divestitures
High level of ethics and integrity
Ability to build effective relationships with global business partners
Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
