Manager, Program Cost Controls
RTX is a leading company focused on defense and aerospace solutions, and they are seeking a highly motivated finance manager to lead the F/A-18 Radar Production portfolio. This role involves overseeing financial aspects, supporting program execution, and managing a financial analyst while ensuring effective communication of financial results to leadership teams.

Responsibilities
Responsible for program controls, customer financial / funding reporting, quarterly EACs, internal financial performance reporting, financial forecast (including AOP and LRP), and workforce planning
Support proposals and contract negotiation activities
Manage direct report including providing training, assignment, and career development opportunities. Identify program finance staffing needs and facilitate hiring/ onboarding of new employees as needed
Facilitate performance development process and timecard approval
Top candidates will raise the performance level of their team and provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making
You will balance competing priorities and interact with various levels of the organization
Qualification
Required
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Experience leading high performing/high visibility teams
Experience with APEX/SAP Managed Programs finance module, Business Warehouse or similar system
Experience in Program cost schedule and control, financial planning, or similar role
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Experience with DoD contract financing and billing
Experience in annual CSDR, CDRL reporting
R6Sigma / CORE Specialist or familiarity with Six Sigma / CORE processes
Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial leadership on Raytheon Policies and Procedures
Self-starter highly motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude
Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills required
Proficient written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience presenting to leadership and peers
Experience managing multiple priorities
