Responsibilities
Define and evolve the product’s visual language (UI system, interaction patterns, tone)
Design end-to-end flows for investing-related actions (onboarding, portfolio views, trade actions, settings, alerts)
Prototype quickly (high fidelity, interactive) and iterate with engineers daily
Build and maintain a clean design system that makes the team faster
Push into brand where it matters: website, marketing surfaces, product voice
Sweat the 'boring' stuff that makes products great: states, responsiveness, edge cases, accessibility
Qualification
Required
You have taste. You care about typography, spacing, motion, hierarchy, and writing
You don't need a roadmap and a PM to tell you what to do
You're comfortable going from zero → prototype → v1 in days
You ask 'why' until the truth falls out
You know how to make complex, high-stakes workflows feel calm, clear, and correct
You use AI tools to move faster but have real design judgment
