Responsibilities

Design and prototype instrument and components for diagnostic systems (fluidic, electrical, optical, mechanical)

Integrate optical components, fluidics, assays, and circuitry into functional prototypes

Rapidly test, troubleshoot, and refine designs based on feedback

Collaborate with assay and software teams to ensure seamless integration

Support transition from prototype to manufacturable product

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with 5+ years of experience

Proven hands-on experience with hardware design and prototyping

Experience working with systems, and optics

Creative problem-solver who enjoys working across disciplines
