Responsibilities
Support lead generation, business development efforts, and the sales process through technical expertise and client interaction
Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding scope, pricing, and timelines
Perform roof inspections, site visits, and field assessments to gather accurate information for new roof installations, reroof projects, and repairs
Analyze drawings, specifications, and field data to develop accurate cost takeoffs, estimates, and proposals
Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors and maintain up to date cost data
Track bid activity, follow up on proposals, and assist with value engineering when needed
Coordinate with sales, operations, and project management to ensure smooth project transitions
Maintain organized estimating files, documentation, and CRM records
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
Ability to read drawings, specifications, and perform accurate takeoffs
Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Proficient in estimating software including EDGE, along with Excel, Microsoft Office applications, Procore, Bluebeam, CRM systems, and other relevant construction and sales software platforms
Ability to physically perform roof assessments and inspections
Preferred
5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience
