Environmental Engineering

Responsibilities

Assist with the month-end close process including the creation of journal entries and account reconciliations for multiple site locations
Prepare monthly financial statements for facilities and discuss/present results to facility managers/management
Prepare account reconciliations and analysis for various general ledger accounts
Prepare and monitor monthly accruals
Support external and internal audits
Produce various reports for management
Assist with SOX compliance
Responsible for the monthly preparation of Divisions Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting including reporting, month-end entries, and confirmation controls
Track and report capital spending by project
Perform other reasonably related tasks assigned by management

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in AccountingUS GAAPSarbanes-Oxley complianceAccounting experienceMicrosoft OfficeAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
At least 4-6 years of accounting experience, required
Must possess strong communication skills in order to positively interact with varied levels of personnel
Must have a solid understanding of US GAAP
Must have strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
Must have previously worked in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment
Must have strong Microsoft Office skills
