Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
LEARN is Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, and they are seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to contribute to improvements in students’ functional skills and autonomy. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to create student programming and implement evidence-based interventions.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming
Engage with caregivers to support the whole child
Serve as a leader in developing behavior support systems utilizing compassionate responses to student behaviors
Collaboratively support and supervise RBTs
Conduct functional and skills-based assessments, then train and coach staff to confidently implement individualized support strategies
Monitor and evaluate student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis and review meetings
Qualification
Required
BCBA certification and Connecticut Behavior Analyst license must be in good standing (or license-eligible)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings
Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
Excellent data analysis skills
Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills
