Responsibilities
Support current low-volume high-mix production with on-site responsiveness to factory equipment, process, materials, and product problems. Factory production execution support includes developing and implementing well-controlled processes using data-driven methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) and writing shop process documentation
Develop and execute new product builds typically with automated equipment, often requiring creative solutions for next-generation product designs
Ensure processes developed and executed meet product quality requirements (J-STD-001, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, IPC, etc.)
Process improvement projects to improve factory productivity through leveraging new technologies, investigating and qualifying new materials, and more
Effective cross-functional communication of technical information
Qualification
Required
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience
Experience with manufacturing or operations
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
Manufacturing experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and microelectronics and automated assembly equipment
Experience and proficiency in masking/demasking products for coating processes
Ability to training other on masking/demasking processes
Process development and qualification experience
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for 6+ hours a day
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of material properties or automated equipment
Able to work with a multi-disciplined engineering team in resolving technical issues and investigation thereof
Self-motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
