Vice President of Investment
Undisclosed company is seeking a Vice President of Investment to lead investment execution and portfolio oversight. This role involves driving disciplined investment decision-making and partnering with executive leadership to align investments with growth and risk objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead the evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across relevant asset classes or strategies
Oversee end-to-end investment processes, including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
Manage ongoing portfolio performance, monitoring returns, risks, and alignment with investment theses
Develop and refine investment frameworks, underwriting standards, and approval processes to ensure consistency and rigor
Partner with executive leadership, investment committees, and board stakeholders to present recommendations, performance updates, and strategic insights
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure strong governance, compliance, and post-investment oversight
Support capital allocation planning and deployment strategies in alignment with organizational objectives
Identify market trends, sector dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform investment priorities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of investment professionals, fostering high analytical standards and accountability
Manage external relationships with advisors, bankers, fund managers, and other investment partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
10+ years of experience in investing, private equity, asset management, corporate development, or a related field
Proven track record of leading investment evaluation and execution activities
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
Deep understanding of capital markets and investment risk management
Ability to communicate complex investment concepts clearly to senior stakeholders
Preferred
MBA, CFA, or other advanced finance or investment credential
Prior experience in a Vice President–level investment, portfolio management, or corporate investment role
Experience across multiple deal types or asset classes, depending on organizational focus
Background in institutional investing, private equity, venture capital, or strategic corporate investments
Demonstrated success navigating investments across different market cycles
