Responsibilities

Set up and operate metal fabricating machines (brakes, shears, presses)
Read blueprints and shop orders to determine machine setup and production methods
Adjust machine settings for pressure, speed, and depth
Inspect and measure finished parts for accuracy
Label and move parts to designated storage areas
Document deviations and take corrective actions
Train new team members as needed
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

Qualification

Blueprint readingCNC software familiarityMeasuring tools usageForklift licenseBasic math skillsProblem solvingTeamwork

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
6+ months of related experience or technical training (or a combination)
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools like calipers and scales
Basic math and reasoning skills
Familiarity with CNC software and PC use (varies by machine)
Forklift license (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
