Springfield Utility Board is an independently operated municipal electric and water utility serving the Springfield community. They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician 1 - 3 to support the Electric Service Center by performing technical tasks related to electrical engineering and utility services.

Responsibilities

Engineering Tech 1: Two years of applicable electric utility experience as related to the Essential Functions; or technical/engineering work, academic experience, or construction management experience as related to the Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for an Engineering Tech 1 may substitute
Engineering Tech 2: Five years of applicable electric utility experience as related to the Essential Functions; or technical/engineering work, academic experience, or construction management experience as related to the Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for an Engineering Tech 2 may substitute

Qualification

Electric utility experienceEngineering Technology degreeTechnical/engineering workConstruction management experienceApprentice/Journey-level trades

Required

Two years of applicable electric utility experience as related to the Essential Functions; or technical/engineering work, academic experience, or construction management experience as related to the Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for an Engineering Tech 1 may substitute
Five years of applicable electric utility experience as related to the Essential Functions; or technical/engineering work, academic experience, or construction management experience as related to the Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for an Engineering Tech 2 may substitute
High school diploma or equivalent
A valid Oregon driver's license (must obtain within first six months) is required
