Responsibilities
Build and manage Kubernetes clusters in production
Migrate legacy systems into cloud-native environments with minimal downtime
Design Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Helm)
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security
Collaborate with developers in a Kanban-style workflow - balancing planned improvements with urgent fixes
Document systems, processes, and share knowledge across teams
Qualification
Required
Strong experience running Kubernetes + Linux in production
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
CI/CD, Git, and automation skills
Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.)
Familiarity with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-directed and able to deliver without micromanagement
Preferred
Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD)
Experience with cloud-native object storage (Ceph, MinIO, S3)
Experience supporting Ruby on Rails, Python, and/or Node.js apps
