Responsibilities

The experienced developer will work on application development, integration development and maintenance of the application

This individual will collaborate with stakeholders and other Agile team members to develop reliable, secure configuration from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Provide support and troubleshooting for ongoing development issues reported by users during testing

The resource will test finished incremental components and provide feedback to the vendor

Regularly monitor the SimpliGov environment to ensure system health, uptime, and performance

Monitor APIs and Integrations

Assisting in performing functional and integrated testing

Preparing and maintaining project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports, and user documentation

Supporting required system go-live activities

Attending Project meetings and own SCRUM deliverables

Assess and re-engineer small-scale .NET applications into Power Apps, ServiceNow, Salesforce or SimpliGov ensuring business logic is preserved and optimized

Work with stakeholders to document current business processes embedded in legacy applications and translate them into modern workflows

Execute SQL Server → Azure Cloud migrations, ensuring data integrity and performance

Transition SAS/Access reports into Power BI dashboards with automation

Prepare and maintain project artifacts, reports, and user documentation

Contractor will perform other project related work as required under Project and Portfolio Manager's direction

Required

Experience implementing applications using Salesforce, SimpliGov, MS Dynamics and/or ServiceNow

Ability to adapt working style to ensure compliance with the State's and DHHS' methodologies

Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

Ability to act independently with sound business judgment, attention to detail and thrives in environment with diverse communication styles

Demonstrated oral and written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid software development frameworks

Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a very strong work ethic

Experience configuring and building complex workflow automation applications using low-code no-code platforms

Experience developing custom objects, workflows, validation & business rules, and trigger notifications

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Power BI

Experience creating dashboards and reports

Experience with integration tools such as Boomi

Experience with data conversion

Experience with SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists and groups

Preferred

Any System Administrator, Developer, certifications experience is preferred

Experience with software implementation projects and with Cloud technologies

Evaluate existing small-scale .NET apps (C#, VB.NET), understand their bus processes, and determine the most suitable modernization platform

Once platform is selected, rewrite them into modern platforms such as Power Apps, ServiceNow, or Salesforce

Migrating SAS/Access-based reports into Power BI for automation and interactive dashboards

Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and Blob Storage
