Warehouse Technician
Sterling is a company seeking a Warehouse Technician to manage various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and organizing goods in the warehouse. The role involves installing software on computers, performing inventory audits, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Participate in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse
Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously
Ability to kit and assemble custom component packages
Ability to enroll computer systems into on-line systems for software downloads, update operating systems or firmware updates
Ability to install asset tracking labels or bios configurations to meet customer standards
Ability to work with limited supervision daily
Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed
Ability to perform data collection and recording to ensure quality standards meet the objectives of the project
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
A working knowledge of different computer components to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of computers a must
Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously
Ability to kit and assemble custom component packages
Ability to enroll computer systems into on-line systems for software downloads, update operating systems or firmware updates
Ability to install asset tracking labels or bios configurations to meet customer standards
Ability to work with limited supervision daily
Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed
Ability to perform data collection and recording to ensure quality standards meet the objectives of the project
Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented
Must be able to lift to 50-75 lbs. repetitively
Must clear criminal background check and drug test
Preferred
Associate degree or minimum of two years' computer repair experience preferred
Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift Operator Certificate preferred
Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with customers, teams, and management at all levels in a cross-functional environment
Excellent oral and written communications; an ability to present and discuss departmental information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding no matter what the level of audience
Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes
Critical thinking and problem solving
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Experience with UPS program and shipping policies
Moderate travel may be required
