Business Development Representative
Future Energy Ventures is seeking a high-energy Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new sales opportunities. The role involves prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying leads to book meetings for the Director of Sales with qualified decision-makers.

Responsibilities
Conduct outbound outreach via email or phone to dealerships and commercial prospects nationwide
Introduce Future Energy’s value proposition and secures calendar-booked meetings
Identify and research prospective clients that align with our ideal customer profile
Schedule calls directly using shared calendar access
Maintain accurate records of conversations and notes into CRM (Zoho) and established lead tracker
Follow up on unanswered or busy leads with 1–2 additional call attempts
Meet weekly call volume (300+ calls)
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership to refine messaging and targeting
Represent the company with credibility, curiosity, and professionalism at all times
Participate in occasional training/touch-base meeting with Sales Director
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience
Strong communicator who is comfortable engaging decision-makers
Motivated by goal-based compensation
Experience with CRM tools (or willingness to learn)
Preferred
1 – 3 years phone-based sales experience preferred (cold calling or appointment setting ideal)
Familiarity with automotive or EV space helpful, but not required
